Wow, so I just went to all the trouble of writing this really long diatribe about friendship and my thoughts there-in, but when I pressed the back button, it was all erased. Maybe God's trying to tell me something, like I should probably read the notes at the end of the page of my other blog site, or maybe I'm not down here to be the best liked or cared about person. Man, if that was a lesson easily learned, I'd probably have surpassed a lot of self inflicted doubt and pain.

Whatever, as usual I find myself grasping for questions on my life. Hopefully this time I can catch the all elusive ones on friendship.

Well, it's been almost a year since I last wrote in this thing, so where to start. Life is ok, but kinda stressful because my classes really suck. Especially Thermo. Not really doin well in that class, but whatevs. Doing well in Dynamics and Physics. In addition to this, I am still girlfriend-less, but let's just say I'm trying to work on that.

This summer should be cool. Got another internship down in Orlando, and my dad said he and I could start taking golf lessons again on the weekends, so that's kool.

On a separate note, I'm getting closer and closer to having my jaw surgery. It will either be this coming Christmas or next Summer. I'm kinda freakin out cuz it's kinda major surgery, and the recovery time will cut into any summer job I have. Blehh. But whatever, it's all for the better.

Work

Aug. 2nd, 2007 | 07:16 pm

. . . was very frustrating today. I was working with this program all day, but I wasn't able to save any of my work. In addtition to this, it kept disapearing from the computer. And not like, it minimized itself, I mean it literally stopped running and acted like it never was running to begin with. AHHHHHH!!!!! But whatever. I have my end of summer presentation tomorrow, then one more week left.

Funny

I love Playing Guitar. I find it very relaxing.
I actually started with guitar a while ago, as a street performer.
It was hard. 'cuz I was in the suburbs.
On a cul-de-sac.
Not a lot of foot traffic.
When people went down there to make a U turn, I'd get 'em.

There's a store in my neighborhood called Futon World.
I love that name, Futon World.
It makes me thing of a magical place,
That becomes less comfortable over time.

I think statues are wonderful.
They show us what great people would look like,
If Birds crapped all over them.
Because pigeons have no sense of history.
"Napoleon, whatever. I just had some bread
So I'm pretty much going wherever I want"

How long is it going to take in our society,
To see a person in an eye patch,
And not to think that they're a pirate.
I saw a guy with a suit and a briefcase,
But he had an eye patch and all I saw was,
"Y'AR"
"Off to me Office. Hold me calls! Y'ar"
"Where’s me Meeting?"

I bought a dictionary,
And the first thing I did was look up the word dictionary,
And it said
"You're an idiot!"

I was eating a bowl of cereal,
And it has this questions and comment section on the box.
Luckily, there was number. So I called, and I said,
"I have a question, is this cereal as delicious as I think it is?
And I have a comment. YES!"

Batteries are the most dramatic objects.
Other things stop working or they break.
But batteries, they die.
"Why aren't you listening to your walkman?"
"I can't. My batteries died in my lap this morning.
They were so young. The twins are gone"
If you're a battery, you're either working or you're dead.
It's a crappy life.

I noticed there are no B batteries.
It goes right from A to C.
I think that's to avoid confusion.
Because you wouldn't know if someone wanted them or just had a stutter.
"Can I help you?"
"Yes, I would like some B Batteries."
"Sure, what kind?"
"B Batteries."
"Right. What kind?"
"B BATTERIES DANG IT! I said it three times!"
And D batteries, those are hard for foreigners.
"Yes I would like De Batteries up there please."
And never order C batteries in twos.
"Yes, I would like 2 C batteries."
"Then look at 'em stupid."

By the way, if you want to sound like a creep,
Just add "Ladies" to the end of whatever you say.
It could be harmless too like:
"Thanks for coming to my show . . . Ladies."
Or "Help, I've fallen into a well,
And I can't get out . . . Ladies."

Cotton balls, is an example of something I would buy,
But would not want to have as a nickname.
"These are my friends Leo and Eric,
And over here is Cotton Balls."
Cinnamon Buns on the other hand.
Yeah, I would buy those and have that as a nickname.
"Excuse me, are you cinnamon buns?"
"You bet your sweet buns I am."

"Sort of" is a harmless thing to say.
"Sort of"
It's just a filler. It doesn't really mean anything.
But after certain things, Sort Of means everything.
Like after "I Love you."
Or "You're going to live."
Or "It's A Boy!"

I saw a sign that said "Watch for Children"
And I thought "Sounds like a fair trade.
Especially if they're crappy kids."

I went into a clothing store, and the lady there got mad at me.
She asked "What size are you?"
And I said, "Actual. This ain't a trick baby."
This woman was amazing.
She led me to the dressing room and said,
"If you need anything, my name is Jill."
And I thought, "Oh my gosh, I've never met a woman before,
With a conditional identity."
"What if I don't need anything? Who Are You?"

I like to do crafts. I work a lot with glitter.
Don't worry though, I make tough stuff,
Like daggers and skulls.
The thing about glitter is, if you get it on you,
Be prepared to have it on you forever.
Because glitter doesn't go away.
Glitter is the Herpes of Craft supplies.
"Oh, here comes the sun." Flare up!

I love video games, but they're very violent.
I want to design a game, where you take care of all the people,
Who get shot in the other games.
"Hey man, what are you playing?"
"Uhh, Super Busy Hospital . . . 2. Please leave me alone.
I have to concentrate, I'm performing surgery on a man,
Who was shot in the head 57 Times."

I think they named Oranges before they named carrots.
"What are these?"
"Those are orange. Oranges."
"What about these?"
"Oh Crap! . . . Long Pointies?"

When they were naming the vitamins,
They must have thought there were going to be,
Way more vitamins then there ended up being.
"Ok, let's name these. Vitamin A"
"Keep going."
"Vitamin B"
"Ok, slow down man, we have a lot to cover."
"B2, B3, B4, B5, B6, B12"
Then the got to E and they were like,
"We're pretty much done. It's all those dang B's.
This is embarrassing."
"Let's just skip to K and get the heck out of here."

When they were naming they animals,
Someone got lazy. Ant Eater?
"What's he doing?"
"He's eating ants."
"Done! Next."

I feel like my washing machine is sneaky.
Cus I put clothes in it, and detergent, and I start it up.
And I hear all this noise, but when I open it up it's all like,
" . . . . . . What man? We're just hangin' out in here.
There's nothing happening, don't worry about it.
I'm a washing machine, not a show you how I do it machine."

I think it would be cool if you were writing a ransom note on your computer,
And the Paper clip popped up. And it said,
"Looks like you're writing a ransom note. Need some help?
You should use stronger language, you'd get more money!"
"Thanks paper clip with a tattoo. Nice Bandana."

It's weird the way finger puppets, sounds ok as a noun,
. . . . . . . .
Ladies!

When someone asks you the question,
"Are you ticklish?"
It doesn't matter what you say. They're going to touch you.
If you don't want to get touched, you have to say something like,
"I have diarrhea. Now don't touch me, or you'll make it come out.
And Yes, I'm very ticklish."

Five Months

Jun. 18th, 2007 | 08:17 pm

Yeah, apparently that's how long it's been since I updated.

In any case, here we go:

Life is . . . challenging. I'm working at Lockheed Martin as a summer intern, and needless to say, having to program with absolutely no experience with any language was hard. I think I'm catching on now though. So far they haven't given me any incredibly fun assignments, but what else could you expect.

Umm, other than that, life is kind of boring. I'm going to Cru every Thursday down here at UCF, but the other days, I don't have anything to day. Makes me sad sometimes, but whatever.

On a different subject, I finally decided to buy a tv of my own with what I'm making this summer (my roommates and I didn't have one for next year), and it's pretty flippin awesome. And it was on sale. On that note, next year is looking good, what with my cool roommies and what not.

It seems like the summer is just shooting by, which I guess could be a good thing, or bad, depending on how you look at it.

Furthermore, I think my brother is on a new medication, and it seems to be working, somewhat. I don't really understand much of that stuff, but whatever.

Well, hat's all I can think of for now.

Peace

And I've decided . . .

Feb. 14th, 2007 | 06:38 pm

. . . once and for all that Valentines day was just created by a super card company conglomerate to boost sales and has no intrinsic value but to show your love for someone (if you're lucky and/or attractive) by buying them useless or very unhealthful objects. Wow, I think this is my all time cynical high. Hahahaha. Whatever. [Yes I know nothing I said in this update is true, including this. Have fun with that one.]

So yeah,

Feb. 13th, 2007 | 06:02 pm

I have Kind of totally forgoten about livejournal what so ever, so I guess this is my mega update. Umm, school is going well. I had a test in Calc II today which I think I did pretty good on, so that's cool. Oh, lacrosse is going well, and we have another game this friday at 8 against Tennessee. In addition to this, for those of you who have been keeping up with my car status, it is fixed but still in Orlando (I actually need to find a ride back this weekend to get it, but anywho). So the reason my oil was screwing up was discovered to be a shop towl; in the oil system; more or less intact. We already got our money from the place responsible, so whatever. Any-who, life is life.

Dear Santa...

Dear Santa,

This year I've been busy!

Last Sunday I pulled [info]misskoreanpie's hair (-5 points). In October [info]peppermintchick and I donated clothes to the needy (11 points). Last month I put money in [info]z4asm's expired parking meter (14 points). Last Tuesday [info]hottness4u and I robbed a bank (-50 points). Last Monday I ruled Canada as a cruel and heartless dictator (-700 points).

Overall, I've been naughty (-730 points). For Christmas I deserve a spanking!

Sincerely,

Invalid Update Number 3.

The invalid went back into critical. Lol. Although the cold is gradually going away, this morning, in flagfootball class, I severely rolled my ankle, keeping me out of the upcoming lacrosse game against UCF. I had really wanted to play this, because I know someone on the team. Thankfully my coach is really understanding and doesn't get angry over injuries. I do get to see the game though, keeping the books on the bench. Oh well. Be praying for a quick recovery.

Well, an update on the invalid: I'm starting to feel a lot better, my throat still feels like knives every time I swallow, but my sinuses are much better. I went to the infirmary today, and at least it's not strep. Anywho, I'm feeling much better now, so fun times.

So, last night, at approximately 3:00 AM, I get sick. Now, at first it was just a throat thing, so I thought it was just dry. Oh no. Now my throat hurts, my nose is blocked up, my mucus is a bad color and my head is throbbing. Could someone explain to me how in the course of like 6 hours I could go from fine to wishing for relief from this agonizing pain? I sure can't. Ohh, the pain. This sucks.

So yeah, I guess it's been a while since I last posted. College is going well I guess. Math is still hard but I'm going to TutoringZone now, and that's really helping, I think. Anywho, this friday is my math exam and a lacrosse game, so that sucks, I have to tell the coach tonight. I hope he won't be angry, or worse, not care.

Ummm, My dorm did a cool Haunted Hume thing for Holloween. We transformed our entire hall into an Area 51 motif and had people come through. It was really quite elaborate and good. Lol. Anywho, went back home last weekend, spent some time with my mom, worked on hw. It was good. Lacrosse practice was absolutely brutal this past monday, I nearly passed out because I hadn't been drinking enough water.

Well, I guess that's it. I'm going to try to keep posting a little more often now. So yeah, fun times.

I know a lot of you know my brother is autistic, but in case you didn't know, my Uncle also has a child with Down-Syndrome, my cousin Nathan. Anyways, he organized an event, so yeah, this is the news report about it.

Saturday at Central City Park, People walked in support of people living with Down Syndrome. The fundraiser was the first ever Buddy Walk in Macon.

Doctor Monte Murphy organized the event. He has an 11-year- old son who was born with Down Syndrome. Murphy says all the proceeds from the event go toward supporting local Down Syndrome groups, such as the Miracle League and The Down Syndrome Society.

DR. MONTE MURPHY, EVENT ORGANIZER:

"We've been to many conferences for the Down Syndrome Society, and we noticed the Buddy Walk at several conferences and saw how we could get involved and kicked right in."

Macon's mayor, C. Jack Ellis, also came to the "Buddy Walk." He says he has a very special connection to the cause.

C. JACK ELLIS, MACON MAYOR:

"We need to do more. We need more research, more community support in terms of care and things of that nature with children with Down Syndrome. I know first hand, because I have a child with Down Syndrome."

Dr. Monte Murphy says he plans to make the Buddy Walk an annual event.

And so, after a long 8 weeks of pledgeship, I am happy to say . . . . that I am no longer pledging for Kappa Chi. My reasoning for this is not because I had a bad experience, and not because it just wasn't fun. Actually it was a great deal of fun. I just could tell with out a doubt that that just was not where God wanted me, and therefore, I am sad that I will not be able to say that I am in a fraternity, but I am overjoyed to say I am doing what I think God wants for my life. In addition to this, with my ankle fully healed, I will begin participating in lacrosse again. Oh, and as a side note, my flag football for my class won our beginning game of the season (we aren't exactly one of the most skill stacked teams out there). That is all.

So I'm in my room right now, listening to an online lecture for Micro Economics, and getting ready for my next class. Physics. I have an exam in that on Wednesday. I should probably start studying hard for that.

This past weekend was awesome. I went to the CRU fall getaway, and it was a ton of fun. Everyone there was really nice, and even made me feel cooler about myself. Lol. CRU is awesome.
